Neurographic Art Therapy

Welcome to Neurographic Art Therapy: an artistic approach to solve any problem.

Neurographic Art Therapy is a creative activity that allows you to manage reality and transform your world as you wish. No drawing skills or art experience are required – just show up and enjoy the process!

When problems arise in life, we must usually deal with three components:

    1. Point A: A negative event (problem)
    2. The process of finding a solution, taking action, and transitioning from a negative situation to a positive one.
    3. Point B: A positive event or the result of the process.

We can divide all problems into two groups:

  1. I have no idea how to resolve it, so I want a ready-made solution. It could be advice from friends, consultations with experts, first and second opinions of specialists, articles on the Internet, forums, support groups, etc. In this case, people take the average steps and, finally, either reach an ordinary solution (the number of such solutions is limited) or consider another way of thinking about it, which is:

  2. This problem doesn’t have any possible solution. I don’t know anyone to turn to for advice. I can’t find any relevant source of information. My friends can’t help. I don’t feel comfortable sharing it with someone else. Etc. There is a feeling of impasse and the typical, haunting questions are: Why did this happen? Why me? Where’s the exit?

Although ordinary steps won’t help and the familiar road from A to B is pretty much useless, the good news is that option two is wrong: there’s no limit to the number of possible solutions. In such situations, we need a completely different approach. The key is looking for routes and tools that we haven’t used before, which means it’s a good idea to start by planning on a piece of paper. Of course, this kind of planning will look different from what we’re used to do.

There are no straight lines in nature!

We aren’t robots (unless Hollywood is to be believed!), so our lives don’t have straight lines and symmetrical solutions. We don’t have tech bugs and spare parts. We’re different. If we draw an “unsolvable” problem as a scribble-doodle, then there can be no straight line to the solution to this kind of problem. Such processes are unpredictable, meaning the results are unique and effective for those who create this image of a solution.

The first step in this process is overcoming one’s own inner limits. Neurographic drawing is one of the most effective ways to extend your mind and find the best solution. This process is rooted in psychology – to be specific, the nervous system and forming of new neural connections.

Using a neurographic algorithm, the problem solver creates a favourable series of events as an amazing, abstract picture. At the end of the neurographic session, the solution to the problem appears on a piece of paper. It tends to look like a circle or oval saturated with the energy of colours, vivid hues, and combinations of various lines.

After this spontaneously-drawn graphic solution has appeared on a piece of paper, it will appear in real life. Everyone is different, so nobody can say when it happened, but practice shows that there are good results guaranteed and positive changes started.

How does Neurographic Art Therapy work?

  • How is the sequence of events (or process) that leads us to an excellent result formed?
  • How does the desired situation come to real life when the problem is solved and we are happy to celebrate this achievement?
  • Does everything depend on us?
  • Is everything in our hands?

Science has no answer to these questions.

“Any problem has a graphical solution,” said Pavel Piskarev, the author of the neurographic method.

This method includes a technique: a style of drawing and psychology. Thanks to the combination of a creative approach with scientific knowledge about our nervous system, it allows us to reap the best results. The situation changes for the better within the first seconds of creating a neurographic drawing.

The reason is that new neural connections begin to form in our brains in this moment. Thanks to this process, we get a fresh look at the situation and, as a result, the correct solution arises and a wonderful series of events take place. Neurographic drawing is all about building a future here and now.

The process is a route from point A, which is the formulation of desire, to point B, which is the result of this journey.

The so-called neurographic route will never be stereotyped and never look familiar. It is always unique and particular to each person. We are all different. That means no picture is ever repeated and the circumstances surrounding the problem solution are unpredictable.

Each new neurographic line activates internal human resources which were previously passive, such as talents, abilities, knowledge, experience, and others. As a result, it helps to expand the boundaries of our capabilities. In solving any problem in such an unusual way, we find the solution ourselves based on our creativity and the amount of information we have received at different points in our lives. This knowledge is stored in our long-term memory, we just haven’t paid attention. For example, we considered it to be of little value, did not put it into everyday practice, etc.

What is the secret to the success of the neurographic method of solving any problem?

As the author of the method says: “When the amount of energy of new neural connections during the drawing exceeds the amount of energy of the complexity of the task, the solution comes into real life.”

In other words, something special (or our perfect solution) happens when new neural connections are formed in the head. Neurographic drawing is the most efficient way to launch this process. When there are enough new neural connections in the brain, the solutions found. As soon as we have that solution in our heads (most often unknowingly), the desired result comes to us in real life.

How many pictures do you need to reach the result?

Everyone is different, so each person has a specific period in which they draw as much as is necessary to accumulate the energy of new neural connections. Sometimes two drawings are enough, but there are also situations when a problem solver will draw every day until the necessary positive changes in life begin to occur. The main point? Continue the process.

Let’s draw and get good results

We discover new opportunities when we try something new instead of ready-made solutions and stereotyped steps. Each neurographic session is a great way to find excellent solutions and a fascinating study of oneself and one’s capabilities.

Neurographic drawing according to a specific algorithm allows you to see the situation from a different point of view, build new neural connections, change your attitude toward the problem, and build beautiful event series that will lead to a good result.
